Our team

At Seaglass, we believe that a multi-disciplinary team is the most effective way to provide efficient and meaningful services.

Our team consists of Educational Experts, Special Education Teachers, Autism Specialists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

JoDee Robinson, M.Ed., CAS

JoDee, Co-owner of Seaglass Diagnostics & Consulting, is a bilingual professional with over thirty five years of experience in autism assessments, special education, curriculum development, and individual social skills development.  JoDee’s professional experience has included founding and developing a non-profit charitable organization and an independent private school focusing on individuals on the autism spectrum. JoDee has also developed many early intervention programs within our Tri-county area and has consulted and developed programs throughout our country and abroad for private and public programs as it relates executive functioning skills, behavior modification, parenting, and social coaching.

In addition, JoDee has earned certifications in ADOS from Vanderbilt University, Autism Specialization, Behavior Modification, Reading Remediation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Triple P: Positive Parenting Program, UCLA’s PEERS for Young Adults Social Skills Coaching, and is a Certified Autism Specialist.

JoDee lives in Summerville, SC with her husband of 30 years, who is an ordained revered and the Executive Director of Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy. JoDee has two children, a daughter who the co-owner of Seaglass Diagnostics & Consulting, as well as, a bi-lingual Speech-Language Pathologist. Her son is an individual with autism who graduated High School top of his class and is currently attending Trident Technical College.

JoDee hones in her skillset by leading efforts to change the way professionals relate to individuals with learning challenges, helping individuals with ASD, and guiding families with next steps after a diagnosis. In addition to working with the ASD community and their families, for over 25 years JoDee has been volunteering her time doing outreach in predominately Spanish speaking communities and facilitates group discussions on diversity and inclusion.

Daniel Enriqué Robinson

Daniel, offers clerical support at Seaglass and is currently enrolled at Trident Technical College as a full-time student and upon graduation is planning on attending The College of Charleston. Born on the spectrum, he has been working in the field of autism as a peer mentor for years to help teach and inspire that you are not defined by your diagnosis and that you can thrive in anything you put your mind to. Daniel has also helped with administrative support throughout his High School career.

Daniel also spends his time volunteering for the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy as a valued member of the Dignity Project, a collaborative community outreach with the Summerville Police Department. Daniel lives with his family in Summerville and in his free time enjoys collecting and listening to vinyl records, glamping with his Dad, and spending time with his family.

Jesse Ausec, OTR/L, SIPT, TIP

Jesse, is ADOS certified and received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from Brenau University in 2012 and has worked as an occupational therapist in the areas of early intervention and outpatient pediatrics for the past 11 years. He has extensive professional experiences in state and national leadership, advocacy, research, professional presentations and publications, and in academia.

Jesse holds special training and certifications in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration, and Pediatric Trauma and Attachment Disorders. Jesse has held leadership roles through the South Carolina Occupational Therapy Association (SCOTA) and The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). He has been recognized by both the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Augusta University (AU) as Fieldwork Educator of the Year. Jesse was also selected for AOTA’s Emerging Leaders and Development Program in 2016 and was awarded the Distinguished Occupational Therapist Award by SCOTA in 2020 for his contributions to the profession in South Carolina.

Jesse will be transitioning to academia full time as a Professor for the Occupational Therapy program at Lenoir-Rhyne University beginning in August 2023. He will also begin the Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at MUSC in August 2023.

Jesse has been married to his wife Paige, who is a NICU/Nursery nurse, for 15 years. They live with their dog Jazz and their twin 2-year old children. They enjoy traveling, exploring and being outdoors, and running ultramarathons.

Bethany Robinson, MS, CCC-SLP

Bethany, co-owner of Seaglass Diagnstics & Consulting, is ADOS certified, a bilingual, certified Special Education Teacher who holds a Bachelors of Science in Special Education with a concentration in Intellectual and Emotional Disabilities from the College of Charleston and a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S. CCC-SLP) with a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Columbia University (NYC). She has over a decade of experience in education in the various realms of teacher, after school counselor, and speech therapist, specifically with children who have ASD and other learning differences. Bethany’s professional experience includes developing a specialized school environment for individuals on the autism spectrum and serving in several capacities including teacher, professional development consultant, advisor, and curriculum development. Bethany is passionate about autism and serving those within the community. She has a loved one who inspired her to work with this community in any way possible and is happy to serve on this team!

Bethany lives in Beaufort, and in her free time, Bethany loves to be with her family, play with her pup Olive, play ukulele, paint, travel abroad, and volunteer on medical mission trips.
